La residencia funciona en tres momentos. Primero, cada participante produce obra cruzando la imagen técnica —lo que producen las cámaras, los programas y los algoritmos— con concepciones de pintura, hibridando lo digital, lo generativo o lo análogo, para abrir nuevas formas de producción de imagen. Después compartimos ese trabajo dentro del grupo TSIL Residencia 2028: discutimos decisiones, comparamos procesos, leemos textos juntos. Al final gestionamos las obras y producimos la muestra en un espacio expositivo.
No hace falta llegar con un proyecto cerrado ni con respuestas. Interesa más lo que aparece cuando alguien muestra algo a medio hacer y otra persona lo mira distinto: ahí salen las preguntas que uno solo no se hace. La exposición cierra el proceso, pero la conversación entre quienes participan suele seguir después.

The residency unfolds in three moments. First, each participant produces work by crossing the technical image —what cameras, software and algorithms produce— with conceptions of painting, hybridizing the digital, the generative or the analog, to open new forms of image production. Then we share that work within the TSIL Residency 2028 group: we discuss decisions, compare processes, read texts together. Finally we organize the works and produce the show in an exhibition space.
You don't need to arrive with a finished project or with answers. What matters more is what comes up when someone shows something half-made and another person sees it differently: that's where the questions you wouldn't ask alone appear. The exhibition closes the process, but the conversation between participants usually keeps going.
